Important notice to our patients regarding Coronavirus and COVID-19
As a dedicated healthcare provider of physical therapy care, we are committed to your and your family’s health. We understand you have concerns about the new Coronavirus.
At Bodycentral Physical Therapy, we are closely monitoring the situation, following the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and are taking a series of actions to protect our patients and staff.
These actions include the following special precautions:
Please, No visitors
- We ask that only patients attend sessions
- If you have a minor child, you may be present with them during therapy
We have implemented additional cleaning procedures
- Disinfecting measures before/after for beds, equipment
- Disinfecting work stations, waiting room chairs, light switches, door handles and other surfaces with Cavicide (very strong disinfectant)
If you are ill or have any symptoms of Coronavirus infection, please stay home! Fever, cough, shortness of breath.
All staff members that travel outside of the US are placed on a 14 day self-quarantine following their return to the US prior to returning to work. We ask you do the same prior to attending therapy.
We screen all patients using a brief questionnaire upon entry to our facility.
We ask all patients to wash their hands-on entry and exit of our facilities, and provide hand sanitizer stations for staff and patients.
We ask that patients and visitors coming to our facilities please bring a cloth face covering. Face masks/coverings and other Personal Protective equipment will be used by our staff when they are working within 6ft of patients. Those items may include a face mask as well as gloves or other barriers as needed on a case by case basis. For some instances a plexiglass shield may be a barrier used during treatment or check-in and check-out procedures.
Social distancing is happening at our facilities- we ask that you be mindful when here with us and stay 6ft away from other patients in the facility. Patients only in the waiting room- maintain distance while seated.
We have rearranged the beds and treatment areas in our locations to provide more social distancing for patients and staff. We also provide treatment in closed treatment rooms as appropriate.
Thank you for adhering to our guidelines during this time so we can continue to provide a much needed service to our community.
