VIDEO MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT Why does BODYCENTRAL Physical Therapy use a video camera for Physical Therapy Evaluations?
The digital video camera records your movement and later, the tape can be reviewed and analyzed step-by-step to find any faulty positions or timing of movement. This information may allow the cause of your pain to be discovered. Documentation of this movement can be used to show your improvements over time. Video analysis is also used as part of our Bike Fitting Service. |

The
digital video camera is an excellent tool to show the physical therapist how
you move. We may tape you walking, running, squatting, throwing, jumping and
going up and down a step. The ability to observe and analyze these movements
is a primary skill used by physical therapists.
